No Plans for Wii U Ambassador Program

Back in 2011, Nintendo cut the price of the then struggling 3DS system. As a form of “compensation” for early adopters that paid the original higher price, Nintendo gave exclusive early access to 10 virtual console games.

In the last week, Nintendo announced that the Wii U will receieve a $50 price drop in America from September 20th. In Europe, Nintendo has announced they are reducing the trade price by £30, which retailers either can choose to pass on to customers.

However, A Nintendo representative told Wii U Daily, that; “there are no plans for a similar program for Wii U”.
